Membership is open to all singers by audition. Auditions generally occur annually in August. Auditions for tenor and bass/baritone voices are ongoing. Please contact Dr. Jim Jirak to arrange an audition. Singers are asked to prepare a musical selection of their choice and will usually be asked to sight-sing and match pitch.
These guidelines below help us achieve a high quality of musical performance which can be enjoyable for us as well as for listeners.
Membership dues for the Boise Master Chorale are $75 per person. However, we have never turned anyone away for inability to pay. See a member of the Board to discuss.

You will have the opportunity to buy some of the music for the season. If you do not buy your music, mark the music with pencil only and erase those markings before turning in your music. Ask before hole-punching. You may be asked to replace lost or damaged music.
It is recommended that you purchase a black folder. If you use a black three-ring binder, magazine holders can be used to hold the music. Ask the librarian for more information about folders.
Promptly return the music in the envelope it came in, or call the librarian to make other arrangements: Sue Phillips, 323-0503
